markymark-v asked: What kind of lenses do you/have you used? At the moment, the zoom lens I'm using has barely usable F-stop values (f/3.5-f/5.6). I'm always fighting to get enough light into the lens to keep the ISO down. But at the same time, I like the shallow DOF that is a result of increasing the focal length. Any tips on keeping ISO down but retaining shallow DOF? Thanks.

It amazes me how some people who call themselves photographers consider their work to be amazing, when their photographs, in fact, aren’t so hot. And at the other extreme, some purely humble folks make astounding photographs without a sense of how good they are. There is little correlation between talent and ego; they are independent qualities.

Don’t get me wrong I like them events, with the girls, and cars all around the area. Though I never really liked groupings, if there was one model just walking around all them Photogs will jump in huge groups and start snappin; when that happens I put my camera to the side, wait and let them “photographers” finish. Feel like shit for the past couple of days, paycheck hasnt come in yet so i cant shop for a gift that i wanted to buy for someone, theres a camera which i got a sweet deal on but without that check i cant buy it, and i have a certain someone tracking my purchases so…cant openly shell out 2.2k.
