Q:Which is better? 35mm or 50mm?

Anonymous

It really depends on what camera you use…like a crop or full frame. 50mm is really sharp, and its an awesome portrait lens, for certain there are no distortions its just a straight up 50 with full frame. 35 is wider, so depending on your distance with your subject you can look around the edge of the frame you can see a slight distortion, but nevertheless it is still a good lens, I don’t personally use a 35mm that often? because i own a 1.8 for crop censor, i had one shoot with a 50mm on a friends 700 (awhile back) and it was magical.

I hope it helps? if you want mid range and fast, get a 50mm, if you want something that you can walk around at ease then get a 35mm it has the perfect focal length for those kinds of stuff. Its not too far, but its not too close either
