Q:Hi. I'm just starting out in photography as a hobby. I have a nikon d5100 and I love it. What would you recommend for someone just starting out (learning techniques and things like that)? Awesome blog btw.
Thanks! well first it would kind of help if you know the rule of thirds its just a general guide line that not everything has to be in the center, you can offset it to one side of the frame of your view finder to make things a little more interesting, so there is a flow to your photos. Thats for starters haha…never have the sun behind you or have it blind your friend if you’re shooting portraits, shoot when the sun is behind the person. Honestly thats about it if you want the basics that’ll get you started and later you’ll soon get a knack for it. Otherwise you can always look on my blog or flickr as a reference to how and what you’re going to shoot or ask away!
